Our Cancellation Policy

Prior to booking weekly sessions for the month, please advise us if you will be unavailable for any lessons and we will offer an alternative time for these sessions. Any sessions that are cancelled after booking are subject to the policy below:

Missed Lesson Policy

At Water Dragon Swim Tuition, we understand that there will periodically be times when you or your child cannot attend their scheduled lesson. We therefore allow a maximum of 1 make up lessons per student per month. Students enrolled in 2 lessons per week are eligible for 2 makeup lessons per month.

We offer makeup lessons for missed lessons (maximum 1 per month)- we do not offer credits or refunds for missed lessons except for extenuating circumstances.

In order to secure a make up lesson, you will need to inform us of your unavailability a minimum of 3 hours prior to the missed lesson.

Please note that makeup lessons are subject to availability. In the case of a suitable make up class time being unavailable, we are unable to offer any refunds or credits for a missed lesson.

Credits - not refunds - may be offered in the case of a long term injury being sustained, and this is also at the discretion of Water Dragon Swim Tuition.

Circumstances in which Water Dragon Swim Tuition may cancel a lesson:

Any electrical storm
Heavy rain (at the discretion of Water Dragon Swim Tuition)
Swim Instructor illness or other unavailability (we will endeavour to provide an alternate teacher in this circumstance)

Note that lessons typically go ahead in light rain. Hey, we're getting wet anyway right?!

In any circumstance where a lesson is cancelled by Water Dragon Swim Tuition, a makeup lesson will be provided. This makeup lesson is to be used within the same term as the cancelled lesson and cannot be rolled over to the next term.

Please note that in the case of the usual swim teacher being unable to teach any sessions in a term, Water Dragon Swim Tuition reserves the right to change the swim teacher. Refunds, credits, or makeup lessons would not be provided in the circumstance. We will give you prior notice if your swim teacher will change.
